The Hughes Model 1000 studio easel is designed to display high quality art in a studio or gallery environment. However, it is identical in all respects to the model 2010. It does not have as many coats of finish applied to withstand the rigors of painting yet is a fully functional easel. 

It can be ordered without the light assembly if desired.
