Hughes Professional Studio Easels may be ordered in a variety of materials, in varying sizes and with diffferent mounting systems. It is entirely possible to have your Hughes Easels system mounted directly to a wall rather than take up valuable floorspace. We are now in the process of producing easels which will stand up to harsher environments as some artists do work outdoors and prefer to leave their easel where it may be a bit damp. These easels are made of woods with higher natural oil content and stainless steel accessories in lieu of brass. At this juncture, these models are still in the testing stage and we can make no promises as to how they will react to mother nature however we do suspect that with the addition of a tarp or similar protection they will withstand the elements.
